The New York Times announced today that Dan Sherlock has been named president of Baseline StudioSystems, effective July 21st. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of site operations including production, business development, sales and marketing, and management of the editorial team.

Baseline joins the 2008 Los Angeles Film Festival

InBaseline joins Film Independent for the 2008 installment of one of the Los Angeles hallmark event. The festival opens with "Wanted" directed by Timur Bekmambetov and starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, and Terence Stamp. The festival's centerpiece premiere is director Sacha Gervasi's "Anvil: The Story of Anvil."
